In July, we launched the fourth generation of our KRIS digital data platform. Since then, the system has already been put into use by several customers. KRIS 4 brings all production data together in one place—bidirectionally networked for maximum transparency. With over 100 new features, seven powerful applications, and virtually unlimited use cases, the platform offers everything modern production needs: precise analyses, optimized process control, and thus greater efficiency, quality, and reproducibility.

Balancing and Distribution

A key element is balancing: this is where balancing dates are created and plausibility checks are performed. The system checks whether the data is consistent and automatically performs the accounting. This is followed by optional error correction. The accounted data is then combined with the tariffs in the distribution step and processed into settled data. This settled data and the associated distribution targets are clearly displayed and assigned.

Flexible Distribution and Cost Evaluation

The system enables flexible distribution of energy costs across various target structures. Evaluation is based on individually stored tariffs – whether in euros, Swiss francs, or CO2 equivalents. Automated plausibility checks ensure that the data entered is correct. The entire energy billing process is digitized and can be seamlessly integrated into other KRIS apps.

Order Management: Efficient Control and Transparency for your Production

KRIS order management forms the central link between internal IT and the manufacturing process. It enables the automated transfer of orders, production, and consumption data via standardized interfaces. Thanks to flexibly configurable data structures, the system can be individually adapted to your requirements — for a smooth, efficient, and transparent production process.

Transparency and Traceability

In the app, a received order is selected and loaded directly into the control system via KRIS. A central dashboard shows you the current status of production: Which orders are active, how many units have already been produced, and what is the transmission status of the production and consumption data? The app supports both the import of orders from MES systems and the manual creation of new orders. The current production status and the recorded consumption data can be forwarded to IT either event- or time-controlled. The live transmission of production data between IT and OT ensures complete traceability and data transparency.
